8th Annual Spring Fling April 10, 2026 12:00pm
Join us for an extra-special event at the spectacular Lost Creek Canyon Ranch just minutes from downtown Palm Springs. This private property features 400 acres of lush landscaping, exotic flora and fauna, and breathtaking views. Before the event, enjoy a few ranch games or have a photo op with a miniature horse. At the Spring Fling you'll enjoy mouth-watering BBQ, a live and silent auction, and more, all while supporting the Institute! After the event, you have a few options for enjoying the ranch. You can take the shuttle to visit the miniature horse sanctuary, shuttle down to the main ranch where you can pick fruit from the orchard and visit the ranch animals, you can walk down to the main ranch with a ranch-hand while enjoying the incredible beauty of the property or shuttle back to your vehicle.
The Spring Fling will be a great time to meet other Institute members and staff and learn more about our conservation efforts for the endangered Peninsular bighorn sheep. Tickets are $200/person ($125 tax-deductible). Sponsorships are available for $1,000 and include 2 tickets and advertising at the event and are completely tax-deductible! Auction items gladly accepted and are tax-deductible.
Some ranch details:
*The Depot (event space) is indoors with air conditioning
*Attire is casual, layers are recommended as the temperature is usually 10 degrees cooler at the ranch
*Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes
*There's a strict no-pet policy
